• EU HQ in Dublin is a key milestone in Rippling’s strategic expansion into Europe
  • Dublin based EU HQ opened as the company expands into Ireland
  • Rippling initially plans to hire 100 employees in Ireland
Workforce management platform Rippling today announced it has established an EU HQ in Dublin. This new city centre office will serve as a hub for the company’s global expansion into Europe, with plans to employ 100 people initially. The company is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.

Rippling’s software gives HR teams the tools to manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system. The software brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, and benefits. Employees in Ireland will work across a range of functions including sales, marketing, engineering, and product, among others.

Rippling allows businesses to handle payroll in just a few steps, ensuring employees and Revenue are paid and reducing the time spent on repetitive tasks as well as errors associated with managing multiple disparate data sources.

The business has seen significant success in the US since it was established in 2016. It supports over 10,000 customers and its latest series E funding round in April, which raised $500 million, valued the business at $11.25 billion. Rippling currently employs 35 people in Dublin city centre.

Simon Coveney TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment said: “This is great news from Rippling, who has chosen Dublin as its new hub as part of its global expansion. Its workforce management software will help numerous businesses in streamlining their processes. In addition, its plans to hire 100 people is extremely promising and I have no doubt Dublin’s rich talent pool will allow the business to continue its growth within Ireland. I wish the team at Rippling the very best with this exciting new project and ongoing success with their expansion into Europe.”

Parker Conrad, founder and CEO of Rippling, commented: "Rippling’s core thesis is that employee information is critical to a surprisingly large number of business systems, including the ones well outside of HR.
"Maintaining the fidelity of the same employee data across all these disconnected systems - effectively, across multiple separate databases - is the reason it’s a lot of work for companies to have many different business systems in the first place. Rippling solves this problem by giving companies and employees a single place to make changes, which then propagate everywhere automatically.

“Ultimately, Ripping eliminates the administrative burden, making it easier to run a business. As one of Europe’s leading tech hubs and a strong talent pool, Dublin is the perfect base for our EU headquarters. We’re excited to launch in Ireland and support businesses all across Europe.”

Mary Buckley, Executive Director, IDA Ireland said: “Ireland has a proven track record of being an attractive location for global companies to access a well-established talent pool. This new addition to the Dublin ecosystem cements our position on the world stage as a leading technology hub. I wish Rippling and its current 35 employees in Ireland every success for the future.’’
